I keep getting asked what are 3 problems that you have experienced and how you resolved them? What are some good examples of how to answer this one. I haven’t really had too many problems. I’m somewhat new to the restaurant biz and I’ve been working at a cafe for 3 months now. However, I’m not making the bucks that i need. Anyway, they’ve asked me this question on job interviews and i never know how to answer it.

  1. Kate J Says:

How would you handle an angry customer who had waited too long for service due to overcrowding?
How would you handle a customer who complained the food was inedible?
How would you feel if you got a very small tip or no tip after giving excellent service?

The first 2 answers should have the customer’s always right ring to them. To the last question, I would say I was a little disappointed, but that’s just part of the job.

Yeah, uh, getting a job is gonna suck.
